On tap @ Destihl. Light amber colored pour with a white head. Bread, tea, and toasted malt on the nose. Some floral hops, orange peel, and a fair amount of pine. Somewhat sweet taste. Fairly heavy on the bread and toast. Decent floral hops and a bit of citrus. Some grass and earth. Hints of fruit esters. deyholla (11597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2014

Just not a great example of this style, thin and watery, no hop flavor or aroma, strictly sweet and slightly fruity malts.

Sampled at Destihl. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of cirtus hops and a nice malty backbone. The taste was similar to the aroma. Very good. hayduke (5203) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
On tap in a sampler glass at the brewpub in Normal while on my way to Dark Lord Day. Pours a clear gold orange with an off-white head with good lacing. Nose is caramel malts with a good dose of floral, citrus, and grassy hops. Smells really fresh. Medium body. Clean smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is really well balanced between the malts an the hops. The finish shows some tropical fruit and perfect bitterness. A really good APA. Far and away my favorite beer at this brewery. . hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Brewhaha. Pours golden orange with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, spice, and malt. Taste is way hoppier than I had anticipated. Notes of caramel, citrus, spice, and a tad bit of pine. Had a nice malt backbone that didn’t overpower the hops. nuplastikk (6252) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 27, 2012
