Hand bottle courtesy of Doodler poured a clear peach with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of straw, citrus, light honey and a hint of tropical fruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, citrus and light honey with a crisp dry tart citrus finish. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Draft at Plainfield MWBF. Pours a pectin hazed pinkish gold, slightly peach colored. Nose is really nice. Fruity and fresh in the nose. Slight tartness in the nose. Mango & pineapple, guava really dominate here. Lots of mixed fruit notes in the nose with some bread in the background. On tasting, it’s fantastic. I love the fruitiness of it, dominating with tropical fruit. Berries and mango and pineapple come across. Mildly tart as well. Well balanced and a great fruit beer. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 8, 2010

So keg to keg this beer varies quite a bit. On a great keg, this beer has a wonderful aroma of tropical fruits. Pineapple, mango, peach quite sweet on the nose. Flavour starts sweet and reminds me of a tropical mixed drink, but finishes with a touch of acidity that presents the perfect level of balance to the sweetness. When a good keg is on, it vanishes quickly. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 29, 2010
On tap at the brewpub (Bloomington, IL). Pours a hazy straw yellow, decent haze, decent ring of white head that laces ok. Aromas are a nice fruity melange, a touch of apple and pear mixes with almost seemingly a touch of pineapple and grapejuice, mango and tropical work it’s way into the fold. Interesting. Initial is sweeter, lighter bodied with pineapple, pear, and apple making a fruity appearance up front, a sweeter beer moves into a mellow cereal grain body, a touch of dryness, finishes with a mellow fruitiness, pineapple and pear dominates. Interesting, a bit sweet for my tastes though

Picked up a growler of this brew after a quick tasted. Pours a very cloudy orange-yellow, looks almost exactly like fresh grapefruit juice, with a modest white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma has a very pronounced pineapple and light mango nose, a light wheat malt and overall strong sweet profile fill out the nose well. Flavor has a strong pineapple presence first, mild mango and strawberry sweet flavors come in the middle with a tart wheat presence and ends with a slightly dry, sweet flavor. Body is moderately heavy with a sugary dry texture and a low fine carbonation. Overall a very interesting brew. The fruit flavors are strong but not so much so that they overpower everything in the brew. The fine carbonation presents an interesting feeling as it feels like seltzered fruit juice. Not a bad brew and one of the better fruity brew experiments I have had recently.
