12 oz. can, pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of candied sugar, resinous hops, caramel, and floral notes. Flavour brings out loads of woody resinous hops, earthy notes, and light candied sugar. Quite earthy and woody, with a nice balance. Finishes hoppy, with low astringency. Very nice stuff. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Can @ Destihl. A little on the dark side of amber. White foam. Heavy on the caramel aroma. Fairly sweet hop profile as well--lots of orange and tangerine. Some pine and grass, too. Lots of toasted bread. Flavor is a bit sweeter than I like. A lot of caramel and toasted malt. Tangerine juice, orange peel, and some light pine bitterness. Slight grassy herb note. Good, just sweet.
