This beer is amazing! As the name suggests this beer is overloaded with hops! Absolutely delicious with plenty of bite! One of he best IPA’s I’ve had in a long time! BethWalsh (1) - North Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 27, 2014 does not count
Great hop aroma and the hop bitterness you’d expect form an Imperial IPA. Not so hoppy it melts off your tastebuds though - subtle malty balance. AnokaBrewer (201) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Full hoppy aroma, poured amber with a nice head on it that did dissipate. Not a lot of carbonation, but enough. Sweet with a bitter finish that does not linger too long. Braudog (6669) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Draft at Sugar Maple. A dark amber/bronze presentation. Drinks with a super smooth character, definitely leaning toward the rich malt baseline, but so well balanced that I could guzzle it. No hint at the nearly 10% ABV whatsoever, so a dangerous brew, too. Excellent! (#5160, 7/6/2013) patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 10, 2014
can - This brew pours up a thick, half inch, off-white head and has a strong grapefruit hop aroma. The flavor is full of hops bitterness and citrus with a big load of malt sweetness too. It’s full bodied with a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Very well done. I see the malt is too heavy for some, but for me overloading both the malt and the hops works great here.

Tap - average size foamy head, medium amber color, nice big hop aroma and flavor, citrusy but mostly grapefruit ronaldtheriot (1918) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Destihl Hoperation Overload has an extremely thick and lively cream colored head, a fairly opaque gold-orange appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is predominately of hop resin with a white bread crust background. Taste is also strong on hop oil and pronounced bitterness, but the sweetness from the malts does balance it out. Mouth-feel is heavy and slick, and Destihl Hoperation Overload finishes puckering, not the least bit alcohilic, and nicely drinkable. RJT drpimento (3568) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Served a bit too cold with a creamy, thick, off- white head and a ton of lace. Color is a clear copper amber. Aroma is fain (bad nose on my part) but does have a good hop & malt character. Flavor’s much stronger than nose, slightly more bitter than sweet up front, then more bitter and some tang. Body is good tho carbonation a bit soft. Finish is heavy bitter and long with some booze. Decent beer. drtbrewster (40) - Arizona, USA - FEB 16, 2014
Hoppy, but not an overload, I enjoyed, crisp and citrusy. If it had more of a finished hop I would rate it higher. GenDV138 (7201) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Can during RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting at Schlafly Tap Room. Golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of floral notes, pine, citrus. Medium body with a dry finish.
