Sampled at Destihl. It pourd a dark copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was of caramel malt, some fruit, cabernet and a hint of tannins. The taste was of some red wine and honey notes to go with the caramel malt. Good beer. hayduke (5209) - Eureka, California, USA - APR 29, 2013
From a sample glass at the Normal brewpub. This came in the glass an attractive red color the had a small tan head nose of caramel malts and grassy hops. Medium in body and smooth of mouth feel. Flavor is malty, with good hops in the taste and nice hop bitterness in the finish. Nice drinking.
