Sampled at a festival. Flanders oud bruin. Brown color. Surprisingly sour, definitely in the Flanders style Balsamic, yeast, fermenting cherry, and acid. highly acidic to the point it might be hard to drink a full bottle but great flavor. Clareeses (203) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 1, 2018

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2018 500mL capped bottle. Clear ruby brown. Small head but sticks around. Great lack of acetic and very traditional earthy musky red grape and cherry. Smooth mouthfeel and light sweetness to work with earthy and potty cherriness. Strykzone (7854) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 27, 2017
Bottle. Amber brown and clear. A beige head is noisy and soon becomes a thin layer. Aroma is funky, robust, and complex. Dark fruit including cherries. Flavor is milder than the aroma. It is also funky with earth, and wood. Woodsy somehow. Spices are all over the place. The finish is quite malty and almost sweet. Nice. mabel (10011) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2017
[9822-20171112] 500mL bottle. Soured fruity raisin wood barrel aroma. Hazy, dark mahogany brown body with a quick foamy tan head. Sour wood barrel and rich fermented fruit flavour. Medium-full body. Good but quite a sour vinaigrette up front. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

2017-11-12. Hazy brown body, modest tan head fades. Aroma of tangy vinous fruit. Flavour is rich, tangy fruit. Sweetish malt in the middle. Dry tangy fruit in the finish lingers, moderate sour notes. Average plus to medium bodied palate, light carbonation. 3+ Interesting, I like it but a small pour goes a long way. 7/3-4/7/3/15 Bottle shared by wilco.

At On tap. Clear dark copper color. Dark fruit aroma. Sour notes. Dark cherries, dark malts. Low sourness on the flavor with dark fruit and cherries/plums. Restrained warmth. kassner (1755) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2017
This great authentic sour is on tap at whole foods in Wexford..it’s the fragrance that says it is right on and it delivers. Pure style Andrew196 (2051) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2017
Draft - Pours a lovely reddish-amber. Aroma of souring plums, red grape. Taste is soured stone fruit, grape, caramel, earth...a hair on the flat side of a feel but overall pretty good. FROTHINGSLOSH (8375) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 19, 2017
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark brown color with a reddish hue and a small beige head that fades quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sour with red wine vinegar and a bit of soy sauce. The flavor w assour with cherry, berry, soy sauce, red wine vinegar and a hint of wood. Long finish. Medium bodied but too flat. In the ballpark of the classics of the style in flavor but ends up a pale imitation. Ok.
