can @ Calandro’s / Baton Rouge LA --- 06/28/16 --- Nearly clear medium golden amber, off-white head that shrinks to a thin rim, spots of lace. Another beer from Calandro’s that isn’t fresh. Taste is malt and wheat that move through light fizz to an odd hop overtone. Medium finish. Age has not benefited this brew. Undrinkable in its present form. nearbeer (5662) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 29, 2017
12 oz. canned 08/25/2016. Foggy, golden pear colored with a thin film of foam. Nose has banana, citrus, bread and a touch of clove. Flavors of spicy banana bread, light lemon juice, earthy-spiced pear and caramel. Finish has some crisp wheat and spicy dryness. Near-medium bodied with medium carbonation and a good drinkable balance. Nice American replica of the venerable style. kevinator (2860) - The Colony, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2016
Aroma as faint wheat. Standard cloudy yellow appearance with a big head. Flavors were pronounced wheat mixed with banana and clove. Traditional and good. Nice full palate. Travlr (26412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 21, 2016

Sampled on the bus during RBSG ’10 from notes. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, cloves, banana, additional spices, pretty standard Hefe, kind of got lost with everything else.

Tap at Grizzly’s. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a white head. Slightly sour citrus. Some wheat. Not sure this is much of a traditional Hefeweizen but it’s a decent lightly sour wheat. BelgianBeerGal (4246) - Panama City, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2016

Can sample at Great Nebraska Beer Fest. Pours hazy golden, white head. Aroma was banana, bubblegum, yeast. Taste was sweet, banana, spices. MetalNHopHead (2264) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - SEP 1, 2016
Weissenheimer seems faithful to Destihl’s Belgian-style skillset and also does a nice job of honoring the traditional German Hefeweizen. Yellow and cloudy appearance. Bread, wheat, and candy aromas. Sweet grainy flavoring with some spiciness. Very light but refreshing.
