3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 21, 2015 At Fountainhead. Quite good really. Dry, fruit, sour, yeast, tart, all hit at different level at different parts of the sip and all fully enough to be interesting and mildly enough to be polite. Serving: Tap
Tan brown, slightly opaque, very minimal tan head. Light oakiness, touch of vanilla, dry sour berry. Some earthy funkiness. Decently sour, not a ton sweetness. Long finish, quite dry. Quite acidic. Good.

Modest sourness. Flavor is similar to European versions, but muted and no aging to smooth it out. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 4, 2015
A very nice example of an American made Flemish, but doesn’t quite get near the euro examples .. . Red .. Easy foam, solid lacing .. . Tart fruit and sweet leather .. Mild pucker, solid mouth and a good presence in the finish .. I liked it but for the price there are better sours .. . . You know there is a religion based on duct tape DialSquare (5029) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2015
On tap at World of Beer at Easton Mall - ridiculously priced - $11 I think - but was craving something sour: copperish pour with slim head. aroma of vinegar, light tart. tastes are same with berry, caramel, cherry, little earthy, acidic. 7.2 bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 29, 2015

On tap at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL. as a 12 oz. serving dispensed to tall stemware, displaying a cloudy, amber hue, with off white/light tan head foam that quickly diminished to a thin ring & light film, leaving light spots of lacing on the glass. The nose was sour cherry and light yeast, with subtle tannic hints & woodiness. Medium bodied, with lively carbonation, the taste was sour, and added a modest, earthy & dry bitterness, with a hint of sweetness blended in. A tasty enough Sour Ale. On tap at Hops and Pie poured a hazy orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of vinegar, apple and light caramel. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of caramel, vinegar and light fruitiness with a crisp dry lightly tart finish. gschrade (1092) - Collinsville, Illinois, USA - NOV 14, 2014
I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a off white head. Taste tart, sweet, earthy. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Clear amber, mostly white head. Balsamic, toothpick, roasted lemons, cherry. Quite tasty. stevoj (5038) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Sour with a touch of musk and funk. Right from the first sniff, you get an idea of the character of this beer. However, it lacks some of the body and fullness of the Belgian originals. Not bad, not great.
