UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 33cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Pitch black opaque color with a big lightly creamy, dense light brown head that lasts forever. Smell malts, roasted malts, hops, hint of chocolate. Taste malts, dark and roasted malts, hops, bitter, dark chocolate. Bitter, chocolate, hops and roasted malts in the finish. Medium to full body, light to medium oily texture, low to medium carbo. Very very good! No, superb! Absolutely love this.

(From notes 15 Oct, 2012) Bottle. Large, thick brown head. Beer itself is pitch black. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate and smoke. Flavors are great; coffee, sweet malt stuff, chocolate and bitterness. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Finish is long and bitter.

I believe the Port is noticeable, as there was something different about this I can’t quite put my finger on. Hoppyness is nice in this one. Fantastic beer.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2010 Delicious creamy beer with a nice aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts. The taste seems sweet at first, but will be followed by a long bitterness. Incredibly beer with a long aftertaste. great imperial stout.

Tasted Copenhagen beer festival. Very strong black and thick beer, almost oily. Incredibly smooth experience and a great balance between sweetness, alcohol and bitterness. Many delicious shades a fantastic experience.
