No head, pitch black. nose with mild chockolate, surprisingly light and simple. some body and length. taste is fine with mild chockolate, licuorize, exitr is more heavy chocko but still to the mild side. Veri soft and nice. Also the feel is very pleasant with a grip and feel that is very fine. woow HenrikSoegaard (14166) - Randers, DENMARK - OCT 27, 2012
Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. No vanilla, but ok roast and some candis. Heavy bitter long finish. Creamy palate. Ok beer but #100 was much better. hallinghansen (3192) - Odense SV, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2012

Stockholm Beer & Whiskey 2012: Tung, mörk doft. Fin smak som er ganska vinös med tydliga russintoner och lakrits. Mycket len eftersmak. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2012
Rich, sweet aroma. Intense raisin flavour, very seducive. But it lacks a multilayered depth, which is what you want at this strength. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2012
Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Almost black and opague. Roast, ash and apple syrup in the aroma. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel. Malty roasty flavor, very sweet with roast, ash and licorice. So powerful, that I didn’t pick up the barrel ageing. Roasty nutty aftertaste with warming alcohol and Snickers. Huge beer! Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2012
Jet black colour, small tan head. Aroma of red fruit, cherry, raspberry, roasted malts, over ripe fruit and apricot. Flavour of red fruit, alcohol, smoke, very sweet, madeira notes. Finish reminds of dessert wine, quite sweet, raisins, light bitterness.
Quite lovely brew, when consumed in small quantities it is an ideal dessert beer.
