jeverszeuge (647) - GERMANY - JUL 16, 2012
12,13,12,12,12,12 - 12,15 - 16/

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2012
Bottle @ZZT IV: Small and quick disappearing off white head to light tan head on top of a black colored beer. Smell is sweet with lot of red fruit like cherries, some benzin and some roasted barleys. Taste is really sweet, sticky, light light vinous notes, hops, wood, sticky sweets (too sweet), roasted malts, light touch of bitterness which is taken away by the sweetness. Aftertaste is sweet, sticky, roasted and red fruit. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, full body abd a creamy texture. Well balanced with all other ingredients than the sweetness which is really a bit out of tune…

joes (93) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUN 26, 2012
Black with a small, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, liquorice and far away a hint of red fruit or resins on alcohol. Soft carbonation (not much) and full bodied. Sweet liquorice, cherry/raspberry, "salmiak" or some umami in the taste. Nice.

Bottled. Pours opaque black with a medium sized brown head. Nose of toasted malts, dark fruit alcohol and cognac notes. Markedly sweet flavor with dark fruits, raisin, chocolate, cognac and spicy notes. Very full bodied, syrupy texture and flat carbonation. Ends up still very sweet and with alcohol notes. A great imp. stout.
