From the Bottle at TAP 1, Copenhagen 08/05/2010 Fruity aroma. Dark coloured a little rich on the palate and strong in alcohol with a dry and slightly bitter malt finish.

Bottle at CBF2010. Pours a brown colour with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and raisins with a hint of wood. Flavour is alcohol, raisins, hops and malt.

Bottled @ CBF 2010. The aroma has caramel, raisin, dried fruits, oak, some roast. Dark coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet, has caramel, dried fruits, some raisin, oak, hint of whisky. Much more balancd than the normal barley wine. Nice.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of fruit, berries, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, black currant, wood, and vanilla. Nice body.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark dried fruit, light chocolate and coffee, oak notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20100507]

Bottle @ Copenhagen ’10. Lovely whisky, vanilla. Adds up great to the boozy barley wine. Fades away the sweetness in a good way.

Fløska. Black colour, small beige ehad. Sweet well malted woody dark fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet dark fruity and malty flavour with wood, bitter hops and a bit vanilla in the finish. Nice.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are fruits, wood and caramel. Quite vinous.

25 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark malty and wooden. Phenolic and wooden flavoured. Bitter and slight acidic note. Dry malty and wooden into a rather phenolic finish.
