Initially dry with salt liquorice and chilli notes, deeply roasty with burnt demerara. Bottle. A dark brown to black beer topped by a dense, tan head. The aroma has a faint chili touch, with licorice, roasted malts, alcohol, coffee notes, some soy sauce and some caramel sauce. It’s lighlty chili hot on the palate, pretty sweet, full-bodied yet almost watery, and with a soft carbonation. Caramel sauce, roasted malts, soy sauce notes and some coffee in the flavor, some chili. Lasting finish. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, alcohol and hint of chili. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate and hint of chili finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Black color, high carbonation but head vanishes quickly. Sharp roasty aroma with coffee, charcoal, dryed chili and chocolate. Burnt flavor with dryed chili, coffee, cocoa and charcoal with hint of raisins. Somewhat stingy mouthfeel. Dominated by dark roast coffee and chili, not a best combination. Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and dried fruit. Bitter onset, quickly replaced by malty and caramel notes. Bottle, 10%. Roasted aroma, yeast, coffee, late liquorice note. Black colour. OK dark brown head. The flavour is boozy and hot at first. Then it is roasted, a bit yeasty with even more chili. Bottle @ Bruce’s. MASSIVE GUSHER. We lost >90% of the bottle. You’ve been warned. The pour’s deep brown with a tiny head. The nose is chili-spiked chocolate, roast grain, syrup. Earthy compost. The taste is burnt brownies, chocolate, roast grain. Medium body, active carbonation. Overall, OK.
