The aroma is spicy and also slightly malty flavor. The taste is slightly malty with delicate notes of caramel, a little bit of licorice and an expected taste of chili, which is very nice adapted and only just marked its sharpness in the end. A truly delicate spicy filling, and so the little sharp chili in the end makes it very tasteful and exciting. The hops are hard to find, but stands out a bit with spices before the transition to the chili. It is a very exciting beer. madmitch76 (25286) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2011

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Thanks to Eddie (Midtyfns) for a sample of this one. Clear amber beer. Malty sweetness and then a fairy aggressive red chili. Ok but lacks the deftness and balance of Eddies own chili beer.
Bottle poured a clear tarnished copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, light chili and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a lightly warming finish. Flavors of carmel, fruittiness and light chili with a crisp lightly warming finish. Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2010
0.33 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy reddish brown color. Sweet caramelly and yeasty aroma with some chili notes. Sweet caramelly and yeasty flavor with restrained chili burn. Too yeasty. Could have more chili, this is fairly sweet after all. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2010

Earthy hop aroma. Golden amber coloured and hoppy with a little dryness in a fiery chilli and malt finish.

HAzy amber color, white head. Chili, vegetable, smoke scent. Chili, malty taste. Chili aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Bottled. Very lively when opened - over carbonated. An unclear dark amber beer with a huge but collapsing off-white head. The aroma has notes of chili, other fruits, caramel, and malt. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of chili, which burns lightly in the mouth and throat, but also with notes of caramel, bread, grain, and straw, leading to a dry finish where the chili note gains in strength and keeps on burning for awhile. Not bad - but not my thing. Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2009
Bottle 50 cl. Small off-white bubbly head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Somewhat clear golden color. Aroma of mild toasted malt, caramel, mild fruit and light hoppy notes. It is only in the afterburner that the chili can actually be felt. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Lingering chili burn finish. Amber color, small off-white head. Hoppy-yeast aroma. A bit watery. Fruity hoppyness, late burning chili. Pleasant chili beer. Hoppyness is interesting mix with chili spiceyness.
Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity hops, some mild spices and wood. Flavour is quite much the same. Nice that the Chili actually kicks in after drinking. One of the better chili beer.
