26-DEC-2014, bottle @Morten, from Kihoskh.
Dark, dark Brown - almost Black - with quickly dying tan head leaving af blank surface. Chocolate, chicli - late burn. Blueberry - is that from the chili? Very nice drink. Plovmand (8683) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2014
Bottle. Pours black with fast disappearing brown head and loads of floaties that stays at the top of the beer. Looks like puke! Roasted malty aroma with notes of chili and chocolate. The flavor is roasted with lighter notes of chocolate and the chili burns light on the tongue. Good hoppy bite as well. The floaties are noticeable in the palate. arsol (1265) - NORWAY - JAN 7, 2014
Svart farge og helt uten skum. Lukter sjokolade, chilli, alkohol og malt. Smaker krydder og sjokolade. Alkoholvarme og chilli i ettersmak. tore_pettersen (195) - - JAN 5, 2014
Svart, meget uklar/grumsete. Tynt beige skumlag som forsvinner raskt. Lukter sjokolade, kaffe, malt, gjær, alkohol og chili. Smaker kaffe sjokolade og chili. Lite kullsyre, smaker litt tamt - ok bitter ettersmak. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2013

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, chili, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, chili, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. Pours ink black with a nice looking dark bubbly head. Also has - once the head has disappeared - what looks like puke floating on to of the beer. The chocolate, I’m told. But it looks disgusting. Anyway, aroma is of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and chili. Taste is about the same - some spices too. Finish is a bit dry and has a slight chili burn, but not much. Medium body. Bubbly carbonation. Overall it doesn’t work as a chocolate porter, the chili part is dissapointing and finally it looks the WORST of any beers I’ve ever had, but tastewise it’s not bad - just average and boring and not worth the money. Strong aroma of dark malt with some sweetness. Sweet taste of chocolate with the aftertaste transitioning to a dry and powerful chili flavor. Will not be so overly dry anyway. Perfectly okay chili beer according to me. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings. larsga (7675) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2013
Big coarse head with dirty covering on bubbles quickly collapses
into what looks like dirty pond scum. Opaque black body. Roasty
earthy chocolate aroma with spicy notes. Dryish earthy
chocolatey taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Hot, fizzy
mouthfeel. Dry earthy spicy roasty aftertaste with hot chili
notes. No way am I drinking this. (0.5l bottle from Kihoskh,
Copenhagen.) Borup (15940) - Albertslund, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2013
Sample at DØE 2013.
Black with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of licorice, roasted malt, fruit and chili. Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 27, 2013
Taster at ØK 13. Clear dark amber, naked surface, dotted spots to the glass. Leathery dry aroma with dark malts and a touch of chili beneath. Taste of chili to the fore on a backbone of dark chocolate malts. Similar long-lived aftertaste. Unvaried, but worth drinking (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).
