Editor’s note: formerly known as "Roskilde Forårsbryg" at 6.5% ABV.
Danish: Duften af appelsin, lakrids og humle sætter sanserne i gang. En flot ravfarvet øl med et hvidt skum, en frisk maltet smag, med flot lakridspræg, en øl som hænger i ganen til stor nydelse. Passer godt til påskefrokosten eller kan nydes kold i forårssolen. Ufiltreret og upasteuriseret. Brygget på malt, humle, vand, gær, appelsin og stjerneanis.

English: Handbrewed beer: When beer is more than beer. The aroma of orange, liqourice and hops is triggering the senses. An impressive amber coloured beer with a white head, a fresh malty flaovur, with strong liqouricenotes, a beer that lingers long on the palate giving great pleasure. Is perfect for the easter lunch or to be enjoyed cold in the spring sun. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Brewed using malt, hops, water and yeast. Sweet orange and staranise is added.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a muddy amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Aroma has liqourice, light caramel, yeast and some fruitiness. Light mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, thick malty, powerfully spices - light anise and oranges. A fruity finish with prunes and plums.

50cl bottle, purchased at a beer festival from the brewer. cloudy orange, giant thick solid offwhite head that lasts. 4++ appearance. aroma dominated by very aromatic hops. orange, pine, grapefruit, faint flowers. flavor is rather hoppy, rather dry, and unlike most other hoppy beers i get some licorice to balance. very interesting brew, resembling american hoppy beers.

Bottled. Light brown coloured. Unclear. Fluffy off white head. Herbal and soapy aroma. Is a bit bland. Flavour is sweet and herbal. Has light citric and spicy notes. Medium bodied. Dry. Is light bitter in the end.

Sample from bottle, served @ Roskilde ØL. Pours a nice deep golden colour with a medium white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with oranges. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is fresh and fruity with a good dry hoppiness, oranges, some anise and a comfortable soft sweetness. The finish is dry and fruity.

Bottle. Pours an orange golden colour with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of some anise and fruit. Soft sweet orange fruity flavour with some anise.

Bottle: Almost clear, amber coloured, big fluffy rocky head, that slowly diminishes, first sweet-malty to fruity, later a bit hoppy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; solid, slightly lingering hoppy and also sweet-fruity finish. Good.........

Bottle @ Roskilde Øl. Hazy golden with meidum white head. Sweet fruity aroma with orange peel, hops and anise. Same goes for the flavor. Finishes bitter.

Bottle. High and lasting off-white head. Hazy cobber body. Powerful and fruity aroma of peaches and oranges plus a good deal of hops. Pretty hoppy and bitter flavor with relatively much carbonation and a dry aftertaste of oranges.

Alcohol: 6,4%. Light brown coloured and unclear. Has particles. Off-white head, medium duration. Heavy sweet and acidic aromas, spice and laqurice too. Flavor is acidic and sweet in an unpleasent way, moderate bitter finish.

Bottle. Amber colour with longlasting head. Fruity, hoppy nose with some sweetness. Malty and spicy flavour. Good stuff.
