COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is caramel, fruit, and pine. Flavour is fruit, caramel, and pine - with a slightly bitter finish.

Sample from bottle, FØL 2013. Slightly hazy amber colour with a small, light tan head. Nice! Sweet and fruity aroma with citrus and grapefruits, apples and caramel malts. Taste is medium to heavy sweet. Medium body, average carbonation. Finishes bitter with rich, toasted caramel malts, floral and citric hops. A bit to sweet for my tastebuds.

0.33l bottle. This is a light cloudy copper colored one with an impressive big and almost fluffy off-white top. It smells fruity, lots of peaches and citrus. Some resinous hops with tones of licorice and more fruits. Not bad. It’s really thick and powerful on the mouthfeel, and it has a small bubbly average carbonation level. Sweet and syrupy in taste, lot’s of bitter hops, and again hints of licorice. It’s really on the sweet side, and even if the hops dominate highly it still somehow feels a bit separated and non-melted together. Ends with sweet dried peaches and apricots on the tongue. 17.09.2012

On 33 cl bottle from Vinmonpolet Vika. Brewed 02.03.2012, tapped 08.04.2012- at least good until 18.06.2013. Dark golden color, lots of foam and high carbonation.Immediate aromas of hops and caramel. Medium/ high body & complexity. High sweetness, but some balancing bitterness. Enjoyable

Kestral (506) - Årnes, NORWAY - SEP 7, 2012
Bottle. Clear copper with a big offwhite head. Aroma is definitely IPA-like, but not your usual citrus bomb. This is something different. There are citrus notes here, but accented by other fruity flavours like pears, apples, peaches. A little bubblegum?A fruity sweetness beneath, like the sugary syrup canned fruits would have been lying in. Very balanced flavourwise, not at all extreme. A quick flash of sweetness with grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel, with medium to low carbonation. A very nice drink.

13,12,12,12,12,12 - 12,10 - 9/7
