Stockholm Beer & Whiskey 2012: Kryddig, humlig och söt på en och samma gång. Trevlig men lite väl söt. Ungstrup (38547) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011
Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, dust, and lots of hops, lending it notes of citrus fruits, grass, pine needles, and spices, leading to a quite bitter finish. clear dark reddish amber, huge very smooth good looking light brownish head. Looks fantastic.
pretty strong hoppy aroma, lots of bitterness and a lot of flowery sweetness too. Good malty base. pretty solid DIPA aroma.
flavor is flowery hoppy, sweet malty, sweetness from sugar or syrup, bitterness. I find the brew a little too sweet, and the hoppy and malty notes doesn’t really mix that well together. Too sweet.
Bottle at home. Pours a slightly haze amber with a beige head. Sweet and hoppy. Also with aromas of caramel malts, residual sugars, yeast and some alcohol notes. Hoppy aromas of fruits and some resin. Medium t full bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Dry and hoppy finish with more yeast aromas. hallinghansen (3430) - Odense SV, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2010

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku and Timo A! Hazy reddish brown color. Thick sweaty-citrusy hop aroma with nutty maltiness. Bittersweet, soapy, citrusy, sweaty, nutty and chocolatey flavor. The hop character is very sweaty and soapy, hard to drink. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2010

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy bitter grapefruit aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit. Die_Kapusta (191) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2010
Intense scarlet red pour with a very generous beige head. Unfortunately a lot of stirred up yeast sediment in the bottle I got, which effected the appearance aswell as both aroma and taste. Sweet but frowsty aroma with a lot of yeast in it. Behind that I get some red berries. Taste is not what I had expect, and to be honest it´s a bit disappointing. Which that said, I still find some interesting flavours. Not sure what they are though. In general sweet and quite boozy, which suddle notes of leafs and campari. I get a lot of yeast and truffle. Mouth feel is a bit sticky. It´s supposed to have 160 IBU but I barely sense any hops at all. To match the massive sweetness and booziness I think you would need twice the IBU. Very weird brew. Very unbalanced. But still interesting and different. Defreni (3303) - Husum, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2010
Flaske: Brunrød let uklar øl med et lille skumhoved. Duft af engelsk humle og en smule sødlighed fra maltbasen der ikke klæder øllen. Smagen er domineret af engelsk humle og lidt mere. Ikke en særlig god DIPA.
