4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Interesting beer, really dark and inviting. Light brown head, Lots of it. Smells of coffee, mocca. Lovely taste, bitter coffee combined with salt liqorice. The combo works for me, but wish I had somebody to share this bottle with, it's a lot of flavour to come in 0,5l size. But perfect on a friday evening instead of chocolate;)

Bottle shared at the return of Old Spice tasting. Small sample. The aroma has licorice, some roast, some coffee. Black coloured beer with a tan head. The taste is light sweet, light bitter, has the whole liquoice thing going on. Medium bodied. BrettGT (202) - Aalborg, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2016
Aroma of licorice, light coffee and roasted malts.
Pours black with thick brown head.
Taste is medium sweet with low bitterness.
Bottle was totally over-carbonated. Mouthfeel and body was more or less destroyed by this.
Have to try another bottle.

Bottle at the Return of Old Spice tasting, Dec 2015, Den Haag. Poured a dark brown colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is chewy malt, light dry coffee. The flavour is liqourice bitter with a smooth rich super liqourice, dry, ligt spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a frothy mouthfeel. kermis (14553) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2015
Bottle shared at the return of Old Spice tasting. Pours black with a big beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, toffee, herbs and strong licorice. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. TorbenJensen (1572) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2015
Lovely aroma of roasted malt and licorice in limited quantities. The taste is evident of English liquorice and have little roasted malt in after taste. Rich and bold porter tastes long liquorice. Finally, a beer that dare to live up to its name. I have tasted too much beer called something with smoke, chili, etc. we really have to look far for the taste. It does not apply to this licorice porter - it has a lot of liquorice in themselves and in a way that still expresses it as a porter. It can’t be shown more accurately. Impressive beer for the low alcohol. Full bodied, plenty of liquorice, hints of chocolate. The brewery’s best beer... PapaVillum (955) - Valby, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2015
