COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Moonlight er en strong ale lagret på egetræ og cognac. En kraftig og lækker øl, som oftest egner sig til at drikke ud på de sene aftentimer hvor månen titter frem og dens skær flot vises i ølglasset. Moonlight er en speciel bryg, hvor der kun er brygget 190 liter. Øllet er lagret på cognac og egetræsspåner. Moonlight er eftergæret og lagret på flaske og bør derfor ophældes forsigtigt.

Odense New Year tasting. Brown with a red hue, and a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and vanilla, a fruity note and a bit of boozy alcohol. Sweet and rich caramel flavour with dried fruits and some hot alcohol.

Bottle @ SBWF2011. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody caramel aroma with hints of cognac and caramel. Sweetish malty woody caramel flavor with hints of cognac. Has a fruity malty spicy woody sweetish caramel finish.

Botella. Reddish deep golden colour with a nice off-white like head. Sweet fruity woody (oak) vinious aroma. Good mouthfeel, bit thick. Flavour is sweet and fruity with yeast, wood (oak), some spice, some dark fruit and vinious. The wood is a bit too much.

Hazy deep red pour with a small, fizzy, off-white head that soon disappears. Aroma is vinious, oak, plums, raisins, liqourice. Low carbonation, fine dry and mild oily mouthfeel. Flavour has liqourice, cognac, oak, plums, raisins, chocolate. Long, lingering malty bitter and warming finish. Nice.

Unclear medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood, alcohol - cognac, maybe tobacco - wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20110918]
