Lovely clear golden with a big, staying, frothy white head. Really nice-looking for something from such a small brewery. Aroma has fresh hoppiness, that slight mineral or chalky note from the palisade on top of roses and oranges. Light peppery. Some sweet caramel malts. Medium to low carbonation, light and dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good hoppy dryness, light chalk again, red apples, oranges, floral. Quite elegant and fresh.
Bottle. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. Good bitterness. Slightly citric. Chalky mouthfeel. Good. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle at Gaasa, Oslo. Pale golden, hazy, stable white head. Good spicy hop nose followed by potent bitter flavours. An American-style noble hops pale ale from Denmark! Pinball (12144) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2012

Light amber cloudy body with an everlasting white head that leaves plenty of lacing on my glass. A very unusual aroma for an APA: apples, yeast and mild spices. Light sweet taste, light acidic and light bitter. The flavours are as uncharacteristic as the aroma: apple, yeast, spices, caramel and some acidic citric notes. Quite Belgian, in my book. Medium to light body with quite lively carbonation, and a pleasant dry finish. A very nice ale.
