Bottle. A black one, topped by a small, dense, tan head. Lots of liqorice and molasses in the aroma, some ammonia candy and roasted malts. The flavor is pretty much the same. It’s nice, but maybe a bit one-dimensional. Roasted, lightly hop-bitter flavor with some coffee notes and a good dash of licorice and ammonia. Medium body, a bit thin for an Imp stout I think, with pleasant carbonation. Some alcohol warmth. Lasting finish. 130614 Pyrmir (6199) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - APR 9, 2013
