CBF09. 50 cL bottle. Pours pitch black and with a small tan head. Roasted malt and dark chocolate aroma. Semi sweet, roasted malt and slight hoppy flavoured. Quite bitter. Light acidic touch into the finish. Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2010
Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thick dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt - reminding me more of a stout than a Schwarzbier. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hard roasted malt, leading to a very bitter and roasted finish. More like a stout. joergen (28955) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2009

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2009 Bottle at KØ09. Roasted aroma. Black colour. Small stable brown head. The mouthfeel is thin like a Schwarzbier. But not much else resembles the style. Quite roasted flavour, some soy, some coffee, mostly roasted notes. The aftertaste gets a bit grainy, but quite nice beer. 6 3 6 3 15
