Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, malty, sugary, herbal taste. Medium full mouthfeel, medium dryish bitterness. Some caramel and grainy aftertaste.
Bottle purchased 12/08/2010 in Winterberg, Germany. Colour is dark brown with evidence of.....purple?!? Low head surprisingly. Nose: Christmas pudding, dried dark fruits, Bolivia cocoa, walnut. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Nutty body with icing sugar sprinkled about....a bit 1-dimensional. Finish has a smal bitter blast. Decent. ha1ag (906) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 18, 2010

Bottle. A clear, copper colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. Oxidised nose with caramel, nuts and some chocolate. A little cellar in the flavor, some fruits too, but mostly caramel. Medium body, quite dry. Bitter finish. Definately not my favorite, but had no problems finishing it. 100108 gunnfryd (14899) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2010

Kasvot, Tampere (thanks to Jossus bf). Ambery brown colour with mediumsized lacing beige head. Aroma is bready malts, some caramel malts as well as mild bready notes along with some slight herbal and wooden notes. Flavour is rather much the same along with some slight dark dry fruity notes as well. Quite wooden and bready finish. Wellbalanced and pleasant brew.
The color is beautiful red-brown and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, straw and nuts. The slightly sweet flavor has notes of caramel, malt, light fruit, hints of cocoa and nuts and the finish is slightly dry. A pleasant beer. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2009
Looks more like a dunkelweizen. Murky brown with quite large head. Quite carbonated, but lacking in distinct flavour.
