blackisle (2810) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - SEP 2, 2017
Swing-top bottle 33cl. @home poured into a lager glass. Clear deep amber brown, good frothy beige head, mostly lasting, light lacing; aroma roasted malts, caramel, candy sugar, light earthty; taste medium sweet and light bitter, onset roasty, caramel, bit grainy; lingering roastiness in the sweetbitter aftertaste, bit thin finish, earthy; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation; quite nice brew with a rustic earthy feel.

0,33 l Bügelflasche. Braunes Bier, cremeweißer, schwammiger Schaum, akzeptable Gardine. Riecht malzig, nach Brot, leicht säuerlich. Schmeckt nach Röstaroma, würzig, süßlich, angenehm bitter, etwas wässrig.

Grumpelmies (362) - GERMANY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle. Brown with a small head. Weak aroma of malts with a hint of roastiness. Taste is mostly malts and a little bit of caramell and gives way to a slightly sour bitterness. Medium carbonation. Yes, it’s very süffig but also watery and boring.

0,33 l bottle. Clear dark copper in the glass. One finger pale beige head. Grassy malty on the nose. Taste starts light roasted malty, grassy, low grain. Some sweetness in the background. Hints of metallic. Low dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Meh.
