Where Purchased: Pint enjoyed at the brewery Consumed: from a pilsner glass Aroma: Smells of wheat and sweet. Appearance : unfiltered pale medium gold with lots of head that turns into good lacing. Taste: a little bland other then the sweet tatse Palate : light body. Sweet aftertaste. Good carbonation. Overall: It was laking flavour. Not as mush carbonation for the style. I was glad to try but will not buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

2015-07-03. Hazy pastel yellow body small white head. 3+ Aroma is surprisingly hoppy and grassy. Light lemon. Flavour is similar, lemon, wheat, bit dilute overall. Average to light bodied palate, soft effervescent carbonation. On tap at the brewpub, Detroit.

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, wheat, some vanilla, lemon, touch of spice into a bit of coriander. Taste is a mix of coriander, grass, bread, some slight white fruit into a bit of watery orange, some hints of yeast, finishing fairly sweet, dry.

On tap poured into a sampler glass. Had this one under the name "Hockeytown Hefeweizen" - but I’m presuming it’s the same beer. Classic aromas of banana and clove hit the nose with a subtle wheat grain note. It pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a white, frothy and soft head. Lots of messy lace is left behind with an above average, puffy retention. A medium light better is balanced well by a medium level of mellow sweetness. It’s thin, yet creamy in texture with a medium body and lots of soft carbonation. It has a nice spicy bite to it at the finish. a bit of a dry cereal flavor also appears at the finish. It is dry and crisp with a roasted grain and light chalkiness / clove grit in the short aftertaste.

On tap: The aroma consists of citrus, banana, faint bubblegum, and a touch of sulfur. It’s a cloudy dull yellowish-orange with a minimal white head that quickly fades to a thin ring. It almost looks flat. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus with a hint of lemon. There’s is light-moderate banana, faint bubblegum, and a touch of clove. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.
