UPDATED: SEP 19, 2011 On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate sweet milk chocolate and light roastiness. It’s a dark brown with a one finger beige head that quickly fades to a thin film and leaves some nice webbing on the side of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of slightly sweet chocolate. The finish has light-moderate roast, nuts, and a touch of burnt notes. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, I tend to find honey Porters too sweet, but in this one the honey compliments the chocolate to give it a sweeter chocolate flavor as opposesd to an actual "too sweet" honey flavor.
