on tap-pours a rich off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is sweet pine/citrus (cascade), secondary medium malt. Taste is sweet pine/citrus-bitter (cascade), secondary medium malt. Medium body. OK carbonation. Optigon (562) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Pours cloudy, amber, with a fine, white head. Aroma is really strong with hops. Flavor has a lot of hop flavor with a bit of over-bitterness for my tastes. Not bad. The malt undertones create a good backdrop to feature the hops. Tmoney99 (14372) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 20, 2005
Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy dark amber with an average head that was lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy hoppy citrus flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Good brew. gearbike (512) - West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA - OCT 18, 2005
1 pint glass on draft at the brewery.
Light orange color with a small head. A little on the light tasting side with some grapefruit flavor. Could be a a little bit hoppier.

On tap: Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head that is fully lasting. Amazing lacing. Aromas were mostly the fruity hops (oranges and lemons) as the glass emptied you were able to get a better sense of the malt as well. Flavor was fruity hops at first (grapefruit, lemons) and finished far spicier (pepper). Lots of hops in this one, finishes as biiter as you would expect, and quite dry. Draft: Not much aroma to speak of, could have been the insanely smoky surroundings however. Was served way cold. Poured a golden orange with a ring of white head that give decent lacing. Taste was intially hops, but the hops and bitterness did not make a great presence overall. There was quite a bit of malty sweetness at the end and some yeast actually in the taste. Didnt really care for it too much, hoever it was somewhat different, so I gave a couple extra points. SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUN 15, 2005
Draft at brewery. Pours an orange color with white head. Nose is pure hopps, some hints of citrus. Mouth is pure hopps and a great earthy flavor, with a nice bitterness in the end. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2005
On tap: Nice citrus hop aroma. Cloudy dull orange with a white head and very nice lacing. Kind of a watery sweetness up front with a nice citrus hopped finish. A decent IPA. Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - JAN 19, 2005
UPDATED: APR 22, 2005 Tap: hazy golden yellow with decent head. Nice lacing. Aroma is all citrus hops and maybe a little floral. Flavor was well balanced malt and hops, a little surprising but good. Decent IPA.
