Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy dark amber with an average head that was lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy hoppy citrus flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Good brew. Dogbrick (13555) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2012
On draught at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazed amber color with a medium off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and sweet malt. The finish is somewhat bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall. jcwattsrugger (12518) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2008

2015-07-03. Hazy orange body with a small beige head fades. 3+ Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, fruity citrus, tangerine. Flavour is similar, fruity, citrus, light resin. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. One of the better options available today. On tap at the brewpub, Detroit. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 18, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big orange, grapefruit, citrus rind into some biscuit, toast, slight caramel with a hint of pine and grass. Taste was a mix of orange peel, grapefruit, pine, grass into a bit of spice, yeast, touch of earthy tones into a bit of biscuit, bread, finishing bitter.

Tap at the brewpub. Amber pour with a thin white head. The aroma is soft and orangey. Nice light sweetness along with a touch of frutiness. Soft and lightly hoppy with a kiss of juicy fruity malts. Lingering fruity flavour over a softly hoppy finish. A fresh, tasty IPA. mabel (9245) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2015

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2007 Light amber color with lots of light orange/straw yellow. Again, little head, but tons of lacing. Served ice cold. Aroma is quite lacking due to the serving temperature, but citrus cascades is there. Sediment again thankfully. Begins very dry and bitter with (surprise) tons of cascades. I was ready to write this off as another ultra-unoriginal highly hopped American IPA, but as it warmed, a decent roasted malt came out, very subtle but impressive. On the finish there was a good mix of yeast and malt and the hops stuck with me and were quite clean and fresh. High quality beer, needs to be served warmer. I’d say medium to full body even. A great aftertaste, bitter but leaves a nice clean malty finish. The best i’ve had here so far. Again, I will have to rerate after I have tried this beer at a more appropriate temperature. Draft pint at the brewpub. Do you ever eat a plate of food and say to yourself, "Yeah, that wasn’t bad," but you could kinda tell the cook followed a recipe note by note? That’s kinda how I felt about this one (and another Detroit BC offering) ... not really bad, if a bit flat, but just boring and uninspired. On tap: Nice citrus hop aroma. Cloudy dull orange with a white head and very nice lacing. Kind of a watery sweetness up front with a nice citrus hopped finish. A decent IPA.
