On tap: The aroma consists of caramel, light fruit, grass, and a touch of spice. It’s a transparent amber with a small white head and some good webbing for lacing. The flavor starts with light caramel and fruit. The finish has light ginger and a touch of grass. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it’s decent but the ginger in the finish is definitely out of place...but a nice touch. ClarkVV (6839) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 17, 2003
Orange with some light rusty brown hues. Small white head, some sediment. Aroma is slightly spicy and yet again, would be better if this wasnt ice cold.
Opens up lightly malty at first with some yeast and hops adding a small punch. Gains a mildly bitter, medium sweet malt flavor as the medium to medium-light body progresses. Finishes rather clean and unspectacular. A well balanced offering, not horribly complex, but certainly nothing bad here. Good carbonation level, alcohol wonderfully masked. Didnt detect any metallic problems. Mouthfeel is a bit watery.
