2005 bottle. Cork and cage nearly took my head off when I opened it. Bright golden colour, crystal clear with a huge rocky head. Fantastic spicy aroma. Soft apricot and peach with fresh baked pie crust maltiness. Soft yeasty spiciness with a bright spiciness, peach and apple fruitiness. Very creamy palate, soft mint, custard apple and vanilla. It starts to get a bit sticky as it warms up, but it never becomes unbalanced. Excellent complexity, great floral aromatics, violets, roses and lavender behind the peach and apple/melony fruit. An excellent concept and very well-executed.

Ruikt zurig, zoetig, kruiden. Smaakt zoetig, alcohol, tikkeltje champagne. Beetje alcoholisch. Veel koolzuur.

An interesting floral, honey-like take on a Belgian blonde. Champagne treatment removes the yeast flavour and gives lots of nice bubbles. Would earn a couple more points if it was slightly less sweet - a touch syrupy.

Bottle from saveur biere.com. I love champagne, and know about it. I love beer and i know about it too (start rating here last week but i own a beer shop). Well this isn’t close to any of those. it’s sugary, overcarbonated at first, then completly flat after a while (bubbles being a super important thing on champagne that mean something) . I’m ok with the superiority of the process of brewing, but it’s a complete waiste of time. I open that bottle with some beer geeks friend and none of us could not express his disappointment. Expensive crap, that’s all! I’m sure that if the same beer was coming out from a 2$ can even punks would still prefeer the maximator, and it would get a 1.3 average here maximum.

Pozytywna ciekawostka :).

Shared 750 ml. bottle with a curvaceous look, poured to a fest sampler displaying a hazed, light gold/straw color, with a fluffy layer of soft white foam that gradually reduced to a persistent ring & film, with spots & strands of lacing. The nose was lightly floral, taking a stab at the combination of spices as coriander & ginger, with a touch of lemon, grass & greenery. Medium bodied, overly effervescent, tart & tangy, alcohol complements, with a bit of vinous nature, and champagne-like presence. Paused after each sip to be polite. Smooth, yet spritzy & refreshing.

Bottle shared at home. Straw yellow colour, no head, just small bubbles. Nose is light sourness, spices, some cider like nose. Taste is low bitternes, low-medium sweetness. Some coriander maybe? Very high carbonation, even too high for a champagne. Had very high expectations, not even close sadly.

Bottle of 75cl, in a pint, from the fridge. Drinked a long time ago... Good and weird beer at the same time... Taste like champagne...
