On tap @ Devassa Ipanema. Pours clear, almost black with small creamy light brown head. Aroma of herbal hops and light roasted malt. Taste is refreshing grainy and citrusy with light roasty backbone and liquorice. Medium body, creamy texture and fizzy natural carbonation in palate. Fresh spritzy and tasty brew...

merican brown ale da cervejaria Devassa, tem uma cor escura, com aroma de cafe, embora discreto. No paladar, corpo médio, com notas de cafe, com discreto amargor lupulado, com final refrescante. Retrogosto suave, lembrando cafe. Ótima drinkability. Uma boa cerveja para iniciar os trabalhos.

Tap at Devassa Ipanema. It pours very dark brown, with a thick beige head. The nose is roasted malt, dark fruit, sweaty sock and metal. The taste is very fruity - berry, prune, plum, cherry and currant, as well as some roasted malt and caramel, with a jammy fruit finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Not bad at all. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - APR 15, 2014
Bottled in Bahia. Dark pour, some light maltiness and very very mild bitters. Not bad for a change of pace in Brazil. sccp1910 (251) - BRAZIL - MAY 24, 2015
Cerveja escura, amargor discreto e leve.

From bottle in Rio de Janeiro. Dark chocolate body with a small beige head that fades quickly. Clove nose with roasted malt tones. Sweet approach in mouth, sultanas and chocolate. Hops and roasted malts appear down on the tongue leaving a lasting impression. Fizzy but not bubbly, enhances its taste without squezzing its refreshing side much needed down in the tropics. An interesting Dark Lager which deserves another try. chinchill (4995) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2014
355 ml bottle in Belem. 4.8% Schwarzbier
Clear red-brown but so dark as to be opaque in the glass. Weak head but some spotty lacing.
FEEL: Light-medium body with lively, medium-high carbonation.
smell: toffee; medium dark and dark roasted malts.
Taste: nearly as good as the aroma. Has more dark roast, especially in the aftertaste. Some chocolate as well. Lightly bitter aftertaste.

Como todas cervejas da linha, ganham no aroma e na coloração, mas perdem no sabor. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2010
typical but smoother Brazilian dark lager ... . Ah! Yeah. It’s just we’re putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that’d be great. All right!
