3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted from bottle at the late night tasting after the Grand Tasting at RBWG Asheville, thanks to Drake, I think. Pours clear golden with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is dank resin hops with some sweetish caramel malt. The flavor features some caramel malt up front moving to the bitter pine resin hops. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter hops with some caramel finish.
Savannah, Ga - on tap at the Savannah Craft Brew Fest. Bubble gum and maple syrup in the aroma. Hints of caramel in the flavor, a hint of mild citrus and an overwhelming abundance of crystal malt - kind of like bad homebrew. Thick enough mouhtfeel. ryanscourt (1531) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2017
Nice sweet malty flavor with traditional c-type hop finish. Lot of nice beers from the brewery though does not seperate itself from upper teir. BierMeHoos (644) - Maryland, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Where: Old Line Fine Wine Spirits & Bistro.
How: 12 ounce bottle.
Appearance is clear, gold, with one inch head and medium-high carbonation. Taste is herbal and leafy hops, grapefruit, and sweet butterscotch malt at the end. Sweetness pops up briefly, but leaves a dry bitter end. Makes for an interesting sipper. Pretty good, similar rating to most DB beers. AWISLguy (3327) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2017
Bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo. IPA pour. Over dry-hopped. Tasty, in that slightly salty way. More than medium bodied, the blend is fine. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet. Solid. A shame they went to AB. 13.7 eRock_2013 (511) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 11, 2017
From a bottle (with some cool label art rendition of a 16-point buck I might add), this poured a rich pale amber bronze appearance with a solid foamy head, lots of hop flavor on the nose and the palate, with an overall amplified flavor intensity and in keeping with the West Coast style of their 8-point IPA. Thick but not full-bodied. The malty caramel is balanced enough to let the hops lead on the palate. A refreshing crisp pine comes through in the finish along with a mild slick booziness which is pleasant and surprisingly muted for the high ABV. Definitely one of the better DIPAs I’ve had and one I would drink again!

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with bubbly white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of big booze and malt with some earthy pine hops. Taste follows, booze and bitterness, are least its a dry and not sweet finish. Big. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2017
12oz bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Pine, citrus and some grainy / breadiness. can8ianben (1576) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2017
A lovely boozy and fruity double IPA. I like the balance and the full flavor profile touching on many different notes. A slight haze was an enjoyable part of this beer as well. obguthr (6666) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2017
Grapefruit and apricot nose, subtle pencil shavings note. Clear copper, medium head. Apricot, grapefruit. Full body, moderate carbonation, warm. captivaboy (35) - Captiva, Florida, USA - JUL 8, 2017
A strong hoppy beer with initial malt overtones. Non floral, minimal citrus, but a nice pour.
