From the bottle poured a pale, piss yellow brew with a nice white head. Fruity, malty, hoppy aroma with notes of metal flavors. Lite bodied with malt/hop balance leaning towards the hop side just a little. OK.

Aroma: medium intense, fairly forward grainy feel, mild herbal hop side to it.
Top: small, short lived white cap.
Base: golden with fine haze
Palate : medium, medium-thin, fairly chewy texture. Frisky carbonation. Average length of finish.
Taste: that thin in body but work was clean with good crisp character. It is softer at walls. Pleasant well made what could it be Dortmunder?
Pale yellow, big but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is mostly malty, maybe a bit of sweet corn. Taste is on the sweet side, maybe starchy fruit like banana? Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Ratman197 (15200) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Can poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread, light earthiness and a hint of yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, light yeast and a hint of earthiness with a smooth dry finish. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Malty, nutty, with some bread dough and cereal. Lightly sweet, smooth, full through the finish. Actually quite good for the style.

COD 8/20/15. Pours a clear pale gold. Outstanding head volume, world class retention and lacing.
Very light nose of biscuit, a slightly tart lemon note and a whiff of hops.
Classic lager light body that is semi-smooth. Superb carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice prickly finish.
The flavor profile is outstanding. It begins with a crisp biscuit character that flows over a subtle biscuit sweetness that just hints at its presence. The middle brings a mild hop bitterness and hop flavor. As the finish approaches, the lemon of the nose appears. The balance is where this beer shines. Not overly intense nor complex, just plain good tasting. The finish is a tad dry, rather crisp and very clean.

Can. Clar, deep gold. Giant long lasting head and nice lace. Aroma was grains and straw. Taste was a weak hay, straw and grains. Doofgoblin (513) - Chevy Chase, Washington DC, USA - NOV 1, 2015
For the Helles style, it’s pretty good. It’s light with a nice amount of toasty malt. It’s sweet but not overly with a nice zing of fizzy. Lagers tend to get rated lower due to the lack of complexity of flavors but there is something to be said for a lager with little to no flaws. Nice job... Can from a mixed 12 pk in the local Kroger that had both cans and bottles.
Clear gold with a minimal white head.
Aroma of light grain. No hop aroma.
The flavor is lightly sweet, some light bitterness in the finish.
Decent but not a very good Dortmunder. Suttree (6479) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 1, 2015
From a can. The cans were kind of wrinkled. The whole 6 pack actually. Weird. Clear gold, nice white head. Smells grainy, lightly sweet, and kind of peppery. Palate is a bit on the heavy, syrupy side. Taste is sweetish, grainy and toasty, and a peppery, grassy hop finish.
