On tap at Rustico during the Devil’s Backbone NoVA launch. Served in a taster glass.
Pours a clear golden color with a nice white head and good retention. The nose brings some light hay and grain plus some floral and citrus elements. Faint stone-fruit notes in the background. Flavor has a nice hop element; wouldn’t have guessed that this used all German hops. Body is light and dry. Very nice. Travlr (25544) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 8, 2012
Draft hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma of grass and hay. Nice grass, pine, starw tastewith a good malt backbone, no pun intended. obguthr (6535) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - APR 4, 2012
Lightly floral dandelion nose. Crystal clear amber, thin yellow lacy head. Honey and dandelion flover, hints of lemon. Alcohol noticeable. Well balanced and tasty. Drake (14045) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Decent head retention. Big fruity, floral and tropical notes in the aroma with pale bready malts. The taste is floral, leafy, citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Almost Belgian in character.
