Poured into a pint glass at New river Grill. A bit sweet on the tongue. Missing some of the malty flavor I expect from a marzen. Pretty good, but I have had better this season.
Draft @ Pizzeria Paradiso - Dupont Circle, Washington DC. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty weak grassy hoppy bitter finish. hershiser2 (2999) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 5, 2015

Dried leaves, walnut nose. Clear copper, thin yellow. Caramel, pecan, dried leaves. Medium body, chewy, easy carbonation. Nice interpretation of the style. solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - OCT 7, 2014
Some bitter barley malt makes this a decently drinkable oktoberfest. Light bitter finish. Orange pour with ok head and lacing. Fizzy, with poignant barley. Lightly sugared malt. Tap at Pizzeria paradiso Dupont. bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 20, 2014

Fish Restaurant, Alexandria VA. Faint Oktoberfest cover, bordering on watery cream ale: some cereal, distant EU hop lozenge, slightly sticky/oily palate. Did not interfere with the fish.
Draft. Pours very cloudy medium copper brown with a fizzy white head. Tastes malty, Slightly bitter, like squash and medium creamy hops. Low/medium body and medium carbonation. Smells malty and creamy. sonnycheeba (5961) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Tap at WOB. Pours hazy copper with creamy off-white head. Aroma is caramel and cookie malts, light toast, dates, floral notes, prunes, and some light funk. Flavor is dry malts with a touch of caramel sweetness, light hop bitterness, some dark fruit esters, and faint spice; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Serving: Draft at MacDowell Brew Kitchen. Surprisingly dark reddish amber pour for a fest bier. Creamy, light tan head. The nose is muted with a little earthy hops and caramel malt. The flavor has a light nuttiness to go with a very malty flavor profile. The little bit of earthy hops don’t win out on this one. A little fuller bodied than I would go for in my O’fest, but it has a crisp finish and wasn’t bad. Somehow I doubt you would see anything like this at a Bavarian Oktoberfest. warcog (3) - Virginia, USA - OCT 8, 2013 does not count
poured from tap, little to no head, no lacing, pours a red amber. Very little aroma, slight sweet malt scent, though the beer is quite cold at the moment. Had to really smell it deeply to detect a strong aroma. taste is fairly sweet, malty, no detectable hop character. Subtle caramel aftertaste. Medium body. An ok oktoberfest, but would not be my go to seasonal beer. Drinkable but not remarkable. jackl (8013) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Deep amber small head. The nose is rich caramel, a bit of nuts. Rich malty sweetness. The taste is more of the same. Brown bread, caramel. Trail mix. Light body, moderate carbonation. Not bad.
