Bottle as Dark Offerings at RFD. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of slightly toasty dark malt with chocolate and leather . Med body or better. Bottle courtesy of Steve-O (thanks Steve) poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roasted malt, cocoa, light smoke and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of roasted malt, smoke, light cocoa and light earthiness with a crisp lingering roasty earthy finish. Bottle thanks to Ken. It pours dark brown with a small light tan he’d. The nose is toasty, cocoa, cardboard, cheap chocolate and light meatiness. The taste is light, toasty, earthy roast, cocoa, pepper, wishy-washy and earth with a short, dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. A bit weak. So-so.

Aroma is dark malt (chocolate, light roast, coffee), light spicy hops, and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant with light malt and hop bitterness and a clean, dry finish. Light body and warmth, medium carbonation.
