Same lable, but says Black Lager. Dark brown with tan head. Aroma is bready with a bit of bitter roast, char, caramel and a hint of coffee. Not bad, but didn't stand out either. Sammy (12996) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2015
Low on mouthfeel. Radek’s bottle. Dark brown with some mocha head. Hitting the style. Malty and some roast. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Bottle. Milky coffee, chocolate malt, and straw aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Lightly sweet coffee, chocolate malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Body a bit light. Decent. hopscotch (11424) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Bottle... Pours black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Good retention. The nose is grainy and loaded with deeply roasted notes. The bittersweet flavor mirrors the aroma, but also offers a nice kiss of vanilla. The lengthy finish is crisp, burnt and bitter. Bottle courtesy of ygtbsm93!

12 oz bottle shared by Brian. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, dark bready malts, watery coffee, metallic, with a slightly vegetal note, thin, not much to get excited about. allmyvinyl (11181) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2015
Bottle at Craigs. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light smoke, faint chocolate. Taste is Moyer of the same. Sweet finish. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Dark brown pour. Samples at GABF. Chocolate, charcoal, ash, hops and chocolate. This beer is in harmony. So smooth. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 13, 2016
12oz bottle, thanks to Brian M for sharing. Bottled 10.02.15. Dark brown color. Ring of khaki head. Some loose bits of lace. Up front in the nose, I get that burnt popcorn smell that I typically associate with too-old lagers. Kind of peppery, spicy in the flavor. Touch of olive, some metallic. Not good. Medium body. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Lighter to moderate bitter taste, lighter to moderate sweet, kind of dry. Mild bite at the back. Not impressed at all with this. solidfunk (9729) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Pours black with good head and lacing. Light roast, watery palate consistent with style. Light sweet finish with some caramel. Thanks to the flatmate for this one. Bottle.
