It pours amber. There is some lacing. It has flavors of applewood, caramel, bacon, and sugar. There is a sweet initial flavors with bacon, smoke, applewood flavor and hints of hops. It has a light-moderate feel to it. Overall it is smokey and sweet that is a fairly easy drinking beer.

Pint on tap. Clear, shiny copper body has a small spit and ring of creamy foam. Light bacon and brown sugar nose. Tastes the same with some dry grassy hop on the finish. Light-medium body has a great balance and a pleasant low-medium carbonation. Not a lot of smoke but this is one of the better smoked lagers Ive had outside the Brauerei Heller brews.
