3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml Bottle. The pour was a sparkling clear pale yellow with a small (less than 1 finger) white fizzy head that diminished in a matter of seconds, and had virtually no lacing at all.
The aroma was of a light grain malt, mild grassy hops and a musty horse blanket yeast with notes of citrus (lemon) and green apple.
The taste was a tad sweet and lightly grainy with a good fruity presence early on, becoming a bit yeasty and very lightly bitter with a hint of citrus and a funky fruity ending. The flavor lasted a very short time proceeding the swallow, with a funky fruity grain aftertaste lingering on for a short while longer.
Mouthfeel was extremely light in body and watery in texture with a strong fizzy champagne like carbonation.
Overall I found this to be a very interesting style of beer. It is a lot like a fizzy light ale, but not, with a nice fruity undertone. I am not a big fan of Champagne, so this is a perfect sustitute to have on hand for those holiday toasts..
Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy golden yellow with white head. Mild Belgian yeast with sweet apple flavour and light spice. Spab (4085) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2017
750 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a lightly cloudy golden colour with average-sized white head. Aroma is gently sweet apple/pear, vinous character, grains and some minerals. Flavour is slightly sweet apple and pear fruitiness, green grape that has some white wine/champagne like character, grains and some light minerally notes. Dry finish. Decent. pintbypint (3836) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 5, 2016
Sampled from a large bottle at Edmonton Craft Beer Fest, 2016. Yellow colour, very thin head of white bubbles. Some straw and bready aromas. Taste of bread, grain and yeast, fruity notes - slight apple and green grape. Light lemon note at the end. Did not seem efervescent at all. Was slightly disappointed with this one. slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 13, 2016
floral and fruity. a little on the light side but the combination is pleasant enough. light peppery dry finish. williamstome (1996) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Straw pour, white head. Aroma of butter and light fruit. Flavor follows... lots of butter and peach. Okay.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2014 Bottle. Blonde, sweet, honey and biscuits, apples, Belgian yeast spice. Decent but not so impressive. Crisp effervescence. UXO (1922) - CANADA - NOV 6, 2014
Tasted at Willow Park Beer Bash 2014. Unfortunately, there was no time for detailed notes - and I only made it through half my list even so! mkel07 (6406) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 9, 2014
750ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from October 2013. Pale amber colour with a wispy white head. Quite a lot of summer fruit in the aroma and flavour. jgb9348 (6484) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Crisp golden coloured body with a ton of bubbles rising from the bottom and sides with a thin, fast-dying white head. Aroma of pale malt, some light pear and apple sweetness and a very mild malt nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Subdued malt flavours at first with a more effervescent and tingly sweetness and crisp herbal flavour coming through. Aftertaste is light and airy with some fruits, a little grass and a hint of yeast. Overall, somewhat reminiscent of an italian or french sparkling wine, but a little dry and not showing enough conviction to even be a decent beer. I’m happy to have sampled it, but glad I didn’t fly home with this one! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on 28-December-2013 for US$11.99 sampled with friends on New Year’s Eve 2013 in Orlando, Florida. Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Bubbly medium golden pour, with a lively white head. Aroma features prominent apple and cereal notes. Flavours of brewers cereal and sweet cidery apples. Lively carbo. We were not impressed.
