473ml can. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and molasses. Taste has toffee and caramel. Some cola. A bit one sided. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - OCT 5, 2016
Pours two fingers of head on a dark brown body. Aroma is rich caramel, bread and toffee. Taste is deep caramel, a little lemon and brown sugar. Texture is thicker. badhack (554) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 2, 2016
Tastes like rich chocolate, dark chocolate, smoke and all are present through a long, smooth finish. Very strong nutty/roasted nut flavor. There is some sweetness, more fruity than sugary. I like the flavor profile quite a bit. Herbal bitter hops to balance, maybe stronger than I would have liked. This reminds me more of an imperial stout than a scotch ale. Dark brown/red, clear, tan head that dissipates. Moderate to thin palate. dwyerpg (6062) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 6, 2016
A solid scotch ale. Some thickness and sweetness but a good balance. Not really my style but nice nonetheless. olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 29, 2016

(22oz. bottle) - Big rocky off-white head, which collapses. Dark reddish body when held up to a light. Malty aroma. Flavors of grain and a bit of light brown sugar. A tad of bitterness on the tail end for balance. Very nice job! Jyrsa (831) - - MAR 19, 2016
Pours brown with hints of red and a small white head. A complex nose malt, dust and peat. Peat with smoke and just a hint of coffee. Smooth with medium body. Sweet and just a bit salty. Very nice. dambor (680) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 6, 2016
Pours dar brown with ruby reflexes. Aroma: bread crust dominating, dark malt, some coffee. Taste: the scotch taste unveils itself in the taste (not aroma), dark malt, nice happy palate. ryecatcher (1433) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2016
Can. Pours a deep ruddy brown, creamy tan head with solid retention. Nose is smoky, malt, iodine (like an Islay Scotch... go figure). Mouth is creamy and mildly sweet up front, nutty, caramel, smoke and some toasted oak. A little thinner and smokier than I like my wee heavy. But not bad.
