Nice copper colour with a creamy head. It is a rich pleasant ale perfectly balanced between soft toffee and caramel notes and a floral-hoppy bitterness. It has a semi-dry finish with subtle coffee notes.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 Arômes de caramel et de miel. Robe dorée faiblement pétillante. Attaque sur des épices qui durent en bouche. Légèrement amère. Très bonne.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2017 Bottiglia 33 cL, casa. Colore ambrato tendente al bruno. Schiuma oleosa poco persistente. Profumi quasi assenti. In bocca sembra annacquata, vago e generico gusto amaro. Retrogusto praticamente assente. Tutta questa linea ha bottiglie con una grafica davvero molto bella, ma poi il gusto di queste birre è una delusione.

Bottle. A bargain at £2.70. Pours copper with broken off white lacing. Aroma is caramelized malts with toffee bread notes. Taste is medium sweet to bitter. Palate medium bodied average carbonation oily feel and bitter finish. It's most remarkable feature is we live in a world where I can buy a Mexican beer in JDW more reliably than a Surrey one.

SilkTork (5946) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2017
330ml brown bottle, filtered, from Beers Of Europe. 6.15% abv. A malt focused beer, attractive soft toffee sweetness, just enough hops to balance out the gentle sweetness. A pleasant drinkable beer, though lacking in depth and character.

Kronhjort1996 (126) - Århus C, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2017
Stærk, let karamel, spiced Rom. amber, clear, tan, let liggende foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, holder sig en anelse tilbage i sidste del af smagen medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, long karamel finish,

30-08-2017; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their August discovery box). The looks of the beer are very nice. The color is a dark coppery red/brown. The beer has a dark amber glow. It is crystal clear. The smell of the beer is great. I like it. There is a nice rich sweet maltiness, which is very clear and present. I smell lovely clear caramel, some nice syrup, a touch of chocolate, red fruits, some almonds. I like it. Besides this there is a nice touch of hops, giving some bitterness there. Nice, and quite rich. I like it. There is also a nice roasted touch of chocolate and coffee, giving just a twist to the beer. Nice. The taste of the beer is lovely. The taste of the beer is also very nice. There are loads of sweet malts, with hints of syrup and caramel. There is a nice bitter roasty touch of chocolate and coffee. The hops aren't to strong, but give just a nice bitterness to the beer, and a nice fresh slightly sour touch. The beer is well balanced. I like the clear roasty and chocolate touches, which are a nice addition to the sweet caramel touches. There is also a nice slight touch of liquorice. The palate of the beer is nice. The body is medium, with a nice smooth body and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is nice. Nice malts, chocolate touch and some nice bitter and fresh hops. The finish of the beer is of nice length. I like the beer. Not bad, I'd like some more of it.
