Bottle to glass. Pours an average Amber color with fast dissipating head. Aroma is piney hops, kind of dank but with a hint of cat piss or vomit. Good and bad aromas. Hmmm. Taste is hoppy, but not gracefully. Not many defined flavors, very carbonated and bitter. Not a fan.

I’m having a Mexican IPA today. It’s the Day of the Dead beer called Hop On or Die DOA IPA from Los Muertos Brewing. It comes in at 6.8% ABC and 83 IBUs. It pours a crystal clear golden amber colored body with a big frothy head. It has a malty, mango, grapefruity aroma. A bit of pineapple too but it’s very subtle. There’s some spice to it as well. It has a somewhat weird aroma. The taste is very sweet up front. A big malt presence followed by a roundhouse kick of citrusy/grapefruity hops. It’s very bittersweet. The aftertaste is a very clinical bitterness, almost like the bottled lemon juice you buy in the stores. It’s refreshing that’s for sure – but it’s also very straight forward. The citrus and the malts comes one after another which seems kinda off. With all the citrus it could easily lead the mind to think that is was a hopped up Corona – but with an ale mouthfeel. It’s a decent beer, and I bet that it would be amazing in the Mexican heat, but it lacks a bit in all aspects for me to really enjoy it.

It has a really distinctive spearmint aroma with some biscuit, toast and nougat. That spearmint is more like peppermint in the mouth with grapefruit, honey, watermelon and loads of alcohol.

BB 11-10-17. Poured a translucent dark amber with a billowing off-white frothy head that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation moderate, slow and coarse. Aroma of sweet caramel malt with hints of grapefruit and maybe pine; not a strong IPA aroma. Taste of low strength pine and citrus/grapefruit and moderate bitterness. Light body. Crisp and dry with a lingering moderately bitter finish. Good for a Mexican beer but not a good traditional IPA - what you get when a macro- tried to go craft.

Bottled 0,33L. Dark amber color, softly hazy, with discreet bubbly aspect and long duration head. Fresh hop and soft caramel nose, notes of cask, yeast, aged and drier grassy. Softly sweetish start with compact and equilibrate bitterish perception. Not much resistance malty final.

Deep golden with white head. Light malt aroma and taste. Notes: bottle at Lee’s tequila and beer experience

Butelka 330ml. Klarowny ciemnozloty kolor. Piana biala o lekko kremowej konsystencji. W zapachu grejpfruty i czerwone pomarancze wszystko przutlumione i malo wyrazne. W smaku raczej goryczkowe o dziwnym herbacianym posmaku. Grejpfruty lekka sosna...nic nadzwyczajnego

Well, despite coming in a pretty bottle, this beer is not good. The smell is of fetid pool waters and wet ass. The look is a basic cloudy amber and it’s inoffensive. The taste is a rotten coppery yakk that tastes like drinking the saliva of someone drinking a much better beer. At least I get to tick another country off my map. Good for waiting for your boo boo to get done with work so that you can hang out together!

Really wish I came on here before buying a bottle of this disappointing brew. This beer sucks, should have known better...never trust a flashy label or witty name. Bitter headache juice with a metallic aftertaste that I’m still trying to cope with. Will never purchase again.

Bottle at Bredaryds Värdshus. Metallic smell with some malt, hops and fruits in the background. Better taste where the hops gets more room, some citrus and pine, metal in the background. Medium to strong bitterness. It got better over time and was actually drinkable in the end.
