11.2 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is doughy, chalky, bready--pretty muted. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white head with good retention. Taste starts out sweet before turning bitter. No real hop characteristics other than the bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Not bad, much better than the first time I tried it. It’s nice to see Mexico producing good beer!

Great name, pleasant IPA not overly hopped or passion fruit in nose, but very drinkable! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33L bottle. Hazy amber color, tiny white foam, disappears quickly. Nose is light. Dirty rag, little citrus and hops. Taste is also little weak, but not so bad. Light orange, rotten veggies, maybe egg. Medium bitter finish. Cool bottle label.

Kolor bursztynowy, klarowny.

330ml bottle at Texas restaurant, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy amber, medium sized off-white head stays. Aroma is tropical, peachy, sweet, caramelly. Taste is juicy, tropical, caramelly, sweet, malty. Fresh grapefruit juice. Medium body, average carbo. Aroma is too sweet, needs more hopiness, but overally goes well with food.

Bottle @ home. Ambrata velata schiuma bianca sporca fine poco persistente. Aroma poco complesso fruttato luppolo aromatico agrumato, leggermente maltato. Secca decisamente amara, luppolo agrumato ed erbaceo. Poco carbonata poco corposa non molto calda. Spigolosa. Equilibrata ma non del tutto armonica

Nice IPA. Quite malty and I enjoy that personally. Perhaps it has a slight over bitterness. Then again, I did have it straight from the bottle.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I’m having a Mexican IPA today. It’s the Day of the Dead beer called Hop On or Die DOA IPA from Los Muertos Brewing. It comes in at 6.8% ABC and 83 IBUs. It pours a crystal clear golden amber colored body with a big frothy head. It has a malty, mango, grapefruity aroma. A bit of pineapple too but it’s very subtle. There’s some spice to it as well. It has a somewhat weird aroma. The taste is very sweet up front. A big malt presence followed by a roundhouse kick of citrusy/grapefruity hops. It’s very bittersweet. The aftertaste is a very clinical bitterness, almost like the bottled lemon juice you buy in the stores. It’s refreshing that’s for sure – but it’s also very straight forward. The citrus and the malts comes one after another which seems kinda off. With all the citrus it could easily lead the mind to think that is was a hopped up Corona – but with an ale mouthfeel. It’s a decent beer, and I bet that it would be amazing in the Mexican heat, but it lacks a bit in all aspects for me to really enjoy it.
