COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Party Porter

As a style porters aren’t the biggest name in beer (not really close though they should be) but this brew is a big contender among culinary journalists, reviewers, and beer geeks. It’s got a big dark bouquet of chocolate, coffee and caramel and has a smooth finish. A Powerhouse of a Porter.

Aroma of dark rotates malt. Pours a dark blackish brown with khaki ring and slight lacing. The taste is roasted malted, fruit and hints grain. Bitter finish /aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, a respectable bitter porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle 7/21/13 (Judicious Spirits-Mountain Home)-42° in Hurricane Glass-Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses, and chocolate. Taste of a little malt and sweetness. This light to medium bodied brew was a little weak and boring.

Alot of coffee taste. A little sour in the middle. Very thin head. But great, but at least I crossed off Arkansas finally. Thanks Erin.

Seemed a bit flat and without the characteristic strength of flavor that I expect in porter. On tap. Need to try again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Taste at the brewery. Black and clear, of course. Laces well, irregular head. Tastes "thin", slight aroma, not particularly impressive, although you can take a little hops. Doesn’t sit poorly on the tongue. I think it’s the best Diamond Bear has to offer.

3.4

35,5cl Bottle @ RBBSG, Courtesy of Travlr. Darker brown to black coloured beer with a small off white head. Light roasted malty sweet and light caramel alcoholic hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is raterh light, short malty with a light malty roasted hint. Medium. Lack in depth.
