Clean orange pour with off white head and lace. Sweet malt and decent hops aroma. Semi sweet maltiness with a good finishing bitter. Good carbonation and mouthfeel. A better than average IPA. SpringsLicker (3665) - Tennessee, USA - AUG 14, 2008
Music City Brewer’s Fest 2008.
Clear medium amber.
Hop aroma supported by light malt.
Lightly bitter with a smooth dryness. HomeBrewHawk (464) - De Soto, Kansas, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Thanks to Dansting for this one. 12oz bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a hazy gold with a thick head of off white bubbles. Pine/citrus hop aroma with a little caramel malt as it warms. On the malty side of the IPA fence, though there is a decent hop bite in the finish. A little buttery flavor, maybe an older bottle? Decent IPA, fairly drinkable. (Bottle courtesy of Headbanger). Aroma is malty with a little yeast and just a hint of hops. Color is a hazy orange gold with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is bold and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a rich feel. Finish comes in malty and sweet with a bread like yeast flavor then a mild citrus and an even bitterness. After taste is hop flavor with the sweet building up a little before leaving you with a bitterness on the back of your tongue. This is a very good IPA, its bold and rich without overdoing it. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 2, 2008
This beer was courtesy of Brett :) I found this was a nice smooth, medium bodied IPA. Pours a clear orange colour with plenty of head and decent lacing. Plenty of grapefruit on the nose, mouthfeel is creamy finishes long and smooth.

Bottle… Cloudy golden ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Lengthy, tight retention. Fairly restrained, breadsy, biscuit aroma with light to medium-roast malts and earthy, citric hops. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Very well-balanced … moderate earthy hop bitterness and moderate caramel malt sweetness. The finish is bittersweet with a whisper of salt at the tail end. Thanks to headbanger for providing the bottle! LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - APR 21, 2008
Bottle - A decent IPA. Moderately hoppy with a nice malt base. A bit on the thin side. pinkzambia (2069) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 10, 2008
Bottle: Reddish copper color with a tan head. Apricot hop aroma with a bitter hop flavor. The body is nice and thick but the aftertaste is funky - egg farts and wet cardboard. Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2008
12oz bottle-A hazy amber body with a small ring for a head and an aroma of hops, malt, and a little citrus. Taste of this brew is of the same with the hops becoming more prominent towards the end. Probably my favorite from this brewery. HarmonKill-a-Brew (407) - Wilmar, Arkansas, USA - MAR 28, 2008
Very simular to their pale ale... probably a little more hoppy. Copper in color, hoppy aroma, and a pleasent hoppy flavor with a hint of pine. Maybe edging out the pale ale as my favorite beer from Diamond Bear.
