Bottle. Light amber color, but the beer delivers a huge floral aroma and flavor component. Bit bitter, but the floral perfume is predominate. Big DIPA, but not overpowering. (#4046, 12/16/2010) ben4321 (6391) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2011

Aroma: The nose is fairly citrusy, orange notes, a bit of candied sugar, and floral hop notes
Appearance: It pours a pretty much clear orange color with a frothy beige head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet for the style, orange candy sweetness, citrus and floral hops
Palate: The body is medium (plus), and it kind of coats the mouth with a lasting, cloying feel to it
I guess ye ole description could use an update, as this one is available in 12 oz bottles (I would know as I am currently drinking one). Anyway, this was actually rather solid. Considering that this is one of the (very) few breweries in a beer-lacking state, I wasnít really expecting much from them, but so far their stuff has not been too bad. Iíll keeping drinking Diamond Bear brews when Iím in town.
12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt. Taste is grapefruit, other citrus, pine, and malt. Finish is bitter. OK. JStax (6348) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2016

Thanks to barzigkin for sharing this growler.
Pours golden orange with a white head. The aroma is strong grapefruit with some pine and orange notes. The flavor is similar with strong grapefruit, orange and pine hop flavors as well as some nice hop bitterness. Thin-medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is grainy, wet grain, worth, hay, grass, nuts, cereal, caramel, broth. Taste is harsh, weeds, hay, dried grain, harsh grass, bark. Medium bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Meh!
growler thanks to BarZigKin. crisp amber with a thick cream head. piney hops, citrus and florals on the nose. decent on the palate, flavor is soapy hops, citrus and pine. rumproasts (5341) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Tap. Golden with one finger head. Soapy and bitter. Light hops. I canít believe someone recommended this to me. This is awful. Are all beers in AR complete shit? Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2011
From the bottle at SAVOR 2011.
Pours a clear golden color with an average white head. A slight amount of lacing as it goes down before setting into a thin collar. The nose was really grainy with some slight citrus and floral hops in the background. Similarly, the taste was just overrun with grainy malt and bordered on being tannic. Body was medium and dry with some slight bitterness in the finish. I wasnít a big fan.
