Had at the Foam beer festival in Fayetteville Spring 2013. Pours amber. Significant malt flavor and rather sweet for my taste. Good overall though. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 6, 2010
(Clear growler thanks to BarZigKin) Pours clear orange with an oily head that fades fast. Nose of chlorine, honey and pineapple. Taste is lightly bitter, pineapple, caramel, and peppery. Finish is lightly carbonated, bready, sweet and cloying. sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 26, 2011
The Dan Journal #442. Tasted 2/6/11. Growler from the Brewpub. Filtered with a dark golden hue. Off-white bubbled head. Aromas of mild grapefruit and olives. Medium bodied and off and oddly bitter. Sulfurous and mild. It gets better as it opens up and comes to room temperature. Bright grapefruity flavors. Decent yet mild. Drinkable yet tame. Ibrew2or3 (8748) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a clear gold body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango like tropical fruit notes with just a sliver of pine off in the background and a slim sweet malt base that is showing through. The taste is similar with a decent level of mango tropical fruitiness as well as some bitter tangelo that gets sweetened up by a little bit of malt. The hops are resiny with just a little smattering of flavor hops too. It seems to be more of a IPA level of richness and flavor and hoppiness rather than a IIPA. scdldave (2) - Brandon, Mississippi, USA - AUG 7, 2013 does not count
lite caramel aroma with minimal head and cloudy appearance. slight sour taste with a lite body and bitter finish that hangs around. overall, it’s decent.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of jackl. Thanks! Pours a clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and caramel malt. The taste is bitter resin, citrus, tropical hops and caramel malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, a little boring, but solid. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 30, 2015
Bottle, shared by Cuningham. Finally finishing all US states. It pours a dense finger thick beige head over an almost clear dark golden body. It’s quite alcoholic on the nose, with malty sugar, resins and pine cones. It’s sweet and bitter in the mouth, full-bodied, warming and hoppy. Some peaches. Lasting quite bitter finish. A decent beer, but it lacks some balance and feels quite rough. 150530 JStax (6999) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2016
12 ounce bottle from martinvanbeer. Thanks! The beer is a clear coppwry orange with a fluffy white head of foam. Strong head retention. The aroma has notes of citrus, pine, resin, sweet vanilla. Fairly dry and herbal bitterness. Medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, higher carbonation. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Growler courtesy of our new friend BarZigKin. Clear orange color. White fizzy head. Large hop head right off the bat. Some edgy grains and light spice. Taste is hops and grain, molded plastic and punchy fruit. Strong but something on the finish holds it back. Best I’ve had from diamond bear however. Into a pint glass. Nice two fingers of foam head. Cloudy copper with lots of bubbles visible.
A soft grapefruit smell.
Bold pine and lemon taste. An almost crushing bitterness without let up.
Medium body and moderate carbonation.
A solid double IPA. From beginning to end it lets you know with its bitterness. A little more complex taste would be bonus.
