This was a limited run that quickly gathered a cult following of depraved devotees. So much so that we had to start making it all year long. Big flavor. Makes other beers taste like tap water. Beer Geek Note: We started using Warrior hops in this brew in place of Chinook.

On tap at Keg and Barrel. Pours a hazy orange with a pretty thick white head. Aroma of sweaty hops, citrus, tropical fruits. Flavor of sweet fruits up front with sticky, resiny hops in the finish. Not overly sweet like some IIPAs and not too heavy either. I quite liked it; despite prior ratings I found it very palatable and flavorful. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Tap at GABF 2017 in Denver, CO. Numerical rating only - did not take detailed notes.

Double IPA in bitterness only, lacking any big citric/herbal/floral hop flavors, instead offering up a massive caramel corn malt sweetness followed by biscuit-laced super-boozy finish. Vodka nose, vodka feel. At least it’s pretty?

on tap @ Diamond Bear / Little Rock AR --- Aroma of malt and rosin. Clear medium amber color, white head that slowly drops to a thin cover, bands of lace. Taste is caramel malt and citrus that floats easily through a medium carbonated swallow to a finish that has malt and hops sharing the stage. A solid IPA. Where is the 9.9%? Recommended.

Tap at GABF. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and bready malt. Medium body, toffee, grass, light bitterness, good.

Sampled from a 0.33l bottle @ Haandfest 2015, courtesy of Cunningham. This is a nice golden looking one, a mild blurry to it and lots of off-white lacings in the glass. Smells kinda sweet and a little grainy. Mild fruity also in a way. Yeah, a nice sweetness in the taste also. Sweet pale malts and a little alco burn toward the finish. How strong is this? Thin green yeasty also. Not bad actually these few drops. 30.05.2015

12 ounce bottle from martinvanbeer. Thanks! The beer is a clear coppwry orange with a fluffy white head of foam. Strong head retention. The aroma has notes of citrus, pine, resin, sweet vanilla. Fairly dry and herbal bitterness. Medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, higher carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Poured into weizen glass.

Pours copper color. Decently carbonated. About two fingers tan head. Good retention, good lacing.

Aroma is super malty. Earthy and caramel. Maybe a touch of orange. Different than what I expected.

Taste is balanced, a little to the sweet side. There’s some hop bitterness, but they are late, they are spicy.

Palate is full bodied. Mostly sweet, a tad bitter. The spicy bitterness is really coming through on the finish. Quite sticky finish. Ten percent alcohol, where is it?

Overall, this really is a good DIPA. Different, but familiar. Oh yeah, I’d recommend this. I would buy it again.

Flaske spandert av Cunningham og delt med flere 30 Mai 15. Mørk gylden. Lavt skum. God søt aroma av frukt & bær. Lettdrikkelig med sammensatt fruktsmak. Melon & syrlig frukt.
