22 ounce bottle no date from the brewpub, waiting for the ferry (back in October). Pours it clear orange yellow with a small creamy off white head with fair retention. slightly metallic aroma with a bit of tanginess. Pale malt. Flavor follows with the (I can only imagine unintentional) sour tang that leads to the slightly malty finish. Minimal bitterness. Dry finish. Light carbonation with a light to medium body. OK.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, hazy, moderate foamy white head, nice lacing.   Light bready aroma, a bit of pale fruit as well.   Fairly full bodied, seems chewy.   Not as sweet as other examples, but not cloying or biscuity.   Its like it is lighter on flavor but its chewier.   Clean finish, a little lingering breadiness and pale fruit.   Not really to style, but fairly enjoyable.   Super easy to drink.

Draught from the brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber color with a moderate off-white head. Nose is fairly grassy with a lot of grains to it. Slightly bitter taste, though toasting and a hint of caramel come through. OK.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours an oily golden color with a patchy head and lace. This comes off as an Oktoberfest beer, rather than an amber. Smooth, slightly rich flavor, and quite refreshing. Light, but quite drinkable. Good beer.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (caramel, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), moderately yeasty (dough, sweat), with notes of celery, toffee. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not much in the aroma that’s enticing...very raw-yeasty and some sour vegetal character as well, which reappears in the mouth. Very difficult to drink.

Tap at the front street. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a scant tan head. Toasty, bread crusty, dry leafy nose. Creamy medium body with sluggish carb. Toasty mid palate, some bread crust and dried leaves. Long nutty finish.

Draught at Fish Tale Brewpub in Everett
Cloudy golden color with creamy head. Strange Ale, a bit biscuity and fruity (pear), with correct bitterness.
Linear and pleasant.
